ORLANDO, USA, June 6, 2022 / — It’s always a good time to celebrate the musical contributions of black musicians, and this year the funk festival Tour features a dynamic live show and exclusive virtual experience in the spirit of Black Music Month. Funk Fest Tour kicked off Black Music Month with Queen of Hip Hop Soul, Mary J Blige, Anthony Hamilton, Jazmine Sullivan, Raheem DeVaughn, Trina, Carl Thomas, Tweet, No Limit Reunion with Master P, Mia X , Silkk The Shocker, Mystikal, legendary band Jodeci and more this past weekend at the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando, Florida.

For over 20 years, the Funk Fest celebration has continued to attract music enthusiasts from around the world and has consistently proven to be one of the best live shows to experience stellar acts influenced by the rhythm and groove of the his Funk. Never one to miss a beat with the impressive array of talent, the stellar performances from all the acts were truly to be experienced. From Mary J. Blige who brought down the house with her musical powers and golden glamor who stunned the Funk Fest crowd with her hot Gucci pants, mini vest and trendy boots to Master P’s heartfelt tribute to her daughter, the impact of Florida Funk Fest 2022 extends beyond the electrifying performances.

Funk Fest is committed to elevating the creative contributions of black musicians throughout the year. Still, mostly in recognition of Black Music Month and this year, the premier festival featuring artists influenced by the rhythm and groove of the funk sound staged an exclusive virtual behind-the-scenes experience. Funk Fest has formed a strategic alliance with a premium social media platform WEIV to provide virtual access with a behind-the-scenes look at the concert series. The invite-only, ad-free platform also allows Funk Fest to develop charitable initiatives by raising funds through content. Through the charity initiative Funk Fest Tour, WEIV donated to a local charity Hapco Music Foundation, Inc.

On June 18 at Waterfront Park, the Funk Fest Tour takes over Louisville, KY featuring Jodeci, Stokley, Tweet, Carl Thomas, the No Limit Reunion featuring Master P, Mia X, Sillk The Shocker, Mystikal, Fiend, Mr. Serv-On and more to continue the celebration of Black Music Month and observance of the June 16th weekend.
